Similar to a lot of couples these days, we met on Facebook. We had been mutual friends for many years without knowing each other offline. One day after Julia moved back to Kentucky from Arizona, she started getting messages from Tyler. He asked her on a date, and drove to Lexington for dinner one weekend after Julia got off of work. They met and the rest is history. After that first date, we spent every weekend together getting to know each other, enjoying each others company and growing in love. There were never any second thoughts or reservations.During the first date, Tyler asked Julia "how does it feel to know you just met your future husband?". It took Julia by surprise but deep down, she knew too.

Our wedding theme is black tie. Some family will be wearing black and neutral colors. You are welcome to participate in the theme if you wish, but no pressure if you have an outfit in mind that’s more comfortable! Wear whatever you feel great in :)

We have a room block reserved at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort and Spa, which is where both the ceremony and reception will take place. Feel free to use our link below ("website") for a reduced rate. If the block fills up, please let us know and we can likely add rooms.

The closest airport is the Bluegrass Airport (LEX) in Lexington, Kentucky. However, the airport in Cincinnati, OH is often cheaper with more flight options. This airport is approximately 1-hour from the wedding location.
